In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top beauty retail applications on the Android platform in Germany highlighted varied trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Mein dm saw a strong start with weekly downloads reaching over 99K in early January, before experiencing a gradual decline to around 24K by the end of March. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users peaking at approximately 3.2M in late January and stabilizing around 2.7M by the end of the quarter.

RITUALS - Cosmetics experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting the quarter with 14.5K downloads and ending with around 9.1K. The app's active users showed a recovery trend, increasing from 73.8K in mid-January to 86.4K by the end of March.

Douglas – Parfüm & Kosmetik maintained consistent downloads throughout the quarter, with notable spikes to 12.2K in mid-January and 11.1K in mid-March. Active users varied, reaching a low of 171K in late February before climbing back to 213K by March's end.

flaconi saw downloads peak at 10.1K in early March, following a steady increase from 5.3K at the start of the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 85K mark throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Notino: perfumes and cosmetics experienced a varied download trend, peaking at 5.5K in mid-January before tapering off to about 1.7K by the end of March. The active user count saw a positive trend, increasing from 24.1K at the beginning to 34K by the end of the quarter.
